    The muscles of the face are used to move our eyelids, our lips, and make any kind of mimicry; they are the ones that you used to make such pretty smiles. Those located on the sides of the head or neck region are used for the movements of the jaw (the mandible) and the head. There are other accessory muscles, often located more deeply, they help to maintain open our respiratory tract.
